Bazaar Bites Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026 by Basharat Mehdi
This policy explains what information the mobile game Bazaar Bites (package com.bazaarbites.android) collects, why, and the choices you have. It is published by Basharat Mehdi, an independent developer ("we", "us").
Summary
- Your game progress is stored on your phone.
- When you first open the game we ask whether ads may be personalized and whether we may collect usage stats. You can change both at any time in Settings > Privacy & data.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- The game is not directed at children under 13.
What we collect and why
| Data | Why | Who processes it |
|---|---|---|
| Game progress (coins, stall level, settings) | To save your game. Stored on your device and included in Android's own device backup. | Your device and Google Android backup |
| Advertising ID, device model, OS version, IP address, ad interactions | To show ads that keep the game free, measure them, and prevent ad fraud. Personalized only if you agree. | Unity Technologies (Unity LevelPlay / Unity Ads) |
| Gameplay events (for example levels reached, orders served), session length, device type | Only if you allow usage stats: to understand what players enjoy and fix balance problems. | Unity Technologies (Unity Analytics) |
| Crash and error reports | To find and fix bugs. | Unity Technologies (Unity Cloud Diagnostics) |
| An anonymous player ID, the player name you choose, and your dishes-served score | To show the "Top stalls" leaderboard. | Unity Technologies (Unity Gaming Services) |
| Purchase records | To deliver in-app purchases and restore them. | Google Play |
"Play with friends" over Wi-Fi connects phones on the same local network directly. That traffic stays on your local network and is not sent to us.
Reminder notifications are scheduled on your phone and can be turned off in Settings or in Android's notification settings.
Your choices
- Personalized ads: switch off in Settings > Privacy & data. You will still see ads, but they will not be based on your interests.
- Usage stats: switch off in Settings > Privacy & data.
- Delete my data: Settings > Privacy & data > Delete my data erases your progress on the phone and sends a deletion request to Unity Analytics.
- You can also reset your Advertising ID in Android settings.

Retention
Progress stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the game. Analytics and diagnostics data are kept by Unity according to its policy. Leaderboard entries are kept while the leaderboard exists.
